My name is Dan Tesser, I am a senior from Princeton, NJ majoring in finance with an entrepreneurship concentration and minoring in psychology. I chose this academic structure in order to help me fine-tune both the hard and soft skills associated with understanding how to run a business. I’ve always had a business mindset and I hope one day to start my own company. This past summer I founded an app start-up that focused on the sharing-economy facet of clothing and I have continued to work on the company since returning to school. I am also very passionate about sustainability and mitigating adverse practices on the environment. Some of my other hobbies include travel, basketball, non-fiction reading and investing. After graduation, I will be working in McLean, Va for Capital One, where I will be a part of their two-year Management Rotation Program. I am very excited to start my career with the company and I will likely be working in project management for the tech side of the business. I’m looking forward to enjoying my last semester here at William and Mary and I am excited to see what this course has to offer.
